Making a Difference

Our partnership with FedEx extends beyond aviation. Since 2012, FedEx has honored the strength and courage of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients by naming a Cessna Caravan aircraft after the child of a FedEx team member. It’s a tradition that we’re deeply proud to support, and we look forward to celebrating the next Purple Eagle honoree during the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

That same spirit of giving inspired us to get involved with T-time, a charitable event benefiting St. Jude. When the founders of T-time, Triston and Sam, brought us the opportunity to sponsor the golf tournament in 2017, we knew right away we wanted to be part of something so meaningful.

Supporting the mission of St. Jude is a cause close to our hearts-and one we’re honored to stand behind.

The Beginning of T-Time

In the summer after seventh grade, Triston Berhend took on a community project assigned by his 1B middle school. With a deep passion for golf and a desire to make a difference, he decided to organize a charity golf tournament. After learning about the incredible work done by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital-especially their commitment to never charging families for treatment, housing, or travel-Triston knew exactly where the proceeds should go.

The first tournament, held in 2017, was a success both on and off the course. What began as a school requirement quickly grew into an annual event with a lasting purpose. Since that first tournament, Triston continued to host the fundraiser each year.

When Triston went off to college, his younger brother Sam took over the tournament, continuing the tradition with the same passion and purpose. Though Triston helped from afar, the event remained a family effort, and both brothers were committed to supporting St. Jude’s mission, raising over $30,000 for the Children of St. Jude.
