Purple Eagle Dedication 2026
This past week the annual Purple Eagle Dedication was held at TPC Southwind, home of the FedEx St. Jude Championship Golf Tournament in Memphis, TN. Over the past 14-years, 14 St. Jude patients have been honored as FedEx Purple Eagle Honorees, a program in which a plane features the name of a child or a grandchild of a FedEx team member. This year’s honoree is Luis Carlos – a St. Jude patient, a sophomore in high school, and the grandson of Kevin, a 10-year FedEx team member. Read more of Luis’ story here:
Since 1986, FedEx’s partnership with St. Jude has generated over $79 million to support children battling cancer and other life-threatening conditions. The research conducted at the hospital has significantly improved childhood cancer survival rates, rising from 20% at its inception to over 80% today. The Purple Eagle Dedication not only honors brave young individuals but also underscores the power of collaboration and compassion in transforming lives.
