Mountain Air Cargo and CSA Air attend Annual RACCA Event

Leaders from MAC, CSA Air, and Air T management gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona, last week for the Regional Air Cargo Carriers Association (RACCA) Annual Fall Conference. Established in 2002, RACCA proudly includes over 95 percent of all eligible aircraft operators as its members. This equates to roughly 1,000 aircraft servicing smaller communities daily, both in the United States and internationally, all operated by RACCA members. RACCA stands as the sole organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to addressing the policy, communications, and informational needs of on-demand cargo aircraft operators. It serves as a vital meeting point for over 50 FAA-certificated carriers, along with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders who support them, fostering a collaborative environment to share industry insights, upcoming regulatory changes from the FAA, DOT, and TSA, and to forge crucial relationships.

The conference theme, “Stronger Together: Safety Through Shared Information and Insights,” underscored the importance of communal knowledge-sharing within the regional air cargo industry. This theme highlights the industry’s survival and improvement through collaboration, where operators share their experiences and solutions to avoid repeated challenges across the sector.

MAC and CSA’s participation at RACCA this year signifies a commitment to the regional air cargo community. As one of the largest ATR feeder carriers in the FedEx network, and boasting dual FAA and EASA certification, a structural and paint facility with military contracts, and a pilot development program aligned with FedEx mainline, Big Mountain stands as a leading figure in the industry. Our presence at the conference reinforces the respect and value we bring to the table, contributing valuable insights to the conversation. The consensus is clear: by working together, regional air cargo operators can navigate the complexities of the industry more effectively, ensuring a safer and more efficient future for all stakeholders involved.
